I have been drawing and painting on and off (more off than on) since childhood. I have had no formal art training apart from attending life classes at the City and Guilds School of Art in the 1960’s and I am largely self taught.

Upon retirement I had more time to devote to painting and I joined Bromley Art Society of which I am Vice Chairman and was elected a member of The Croydon Art Society. I am a regular exhibitor with both Societies and I have also exhibited with Wrotham and also Carshalton Arts festival.

I paint a variety of subjects, solely in watercolour.
