Painting is in my blood, my father, my grandparents and my great uncle were all painters.
I was born in 1958 and originally studied Drama at Manchester University. I have lived in and around Brixton in the south east virtually all my adult life. I currently work as an Occupational Therapist in Croydon University Hospital formerly Mayday Hospital.
I paint in a variety of media, including oils,pastel and watercolours and I have taken part in a number of exhibitions local to Brixton, as well as in Croydon University Hospital itself.
My subjects vary,but I am very keen on the use of colour and how this can be used in relation to the depiction of people and the locality.
