Since retirement from Government service in 1993 has continuously attended further education classes in Coulsdon, together with other art classes locally. Now paints in watercolour, mainly landscapes.

Ceri is a past member of Old Coulsdon Art Society and the Caterham School Parents and Friends Art Society. He joined the Croydon Art Society in 2009.

For many years he has exhibited at the Fairfield Halls, at the Soper Hall in Caterham and at other venues.
