Joanna joined the Croydon Art Society in 2006. She studied at Exeter College of Art until a family crisis abruptly terminated her education.

Most of her professional life has been in publishing/journalism and she regularly contributes to magazines, but she has always painted.

She joined the Croydon Art Society in 2006 and is keen to promote its interests.
